Rare Antique Bryant & May Early shop advertising match box with original contents. In excellent condition. 

Match-making was considered a hazordous job perfromed mainly by women in the 1800's. The Match Girls Strike of 1888 was a landmark industrial action and led to not only better pay but less hazordous conditions and safety matches were borne!
