Cadbury were established in Birmingham in 1824 by John Cadbury, a Quaker who sold tea, coffee and drinking chocolate. Granted their first Royal warrant from Queen Victoria in 1854 The emphasis on its purity was advertised through the 1880's and 1890's setting them above the rest as the best Cocoa. The colour changed to purple in 1905 as it was Queen Victorias favourite colour. This beautiful Cadbury Box with original advertising is a lovely example and would look great in any kitchen or to add to any collection of food advertising. Dimensions : 15¼" L x 8¼ W x 3¼" H
